Contract: Ongoing to March 21
Hours: 37hrs a week - 9-5 (They can be flexible once candidates started)
Salary: £10.90/hour
Start Date: Immediate
Location: WFH (may change post COVID)
Equipment: Laptops provided (Not sure when yet)
Training: online virtual training 4-6 weeks
Duties: General administration , ideally 1 years experience

We are looking for a number of administrators to join the Animal Plant Health Agency. More information can be found on their website: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/animal-and-plant-health-agency

You will administer documents relating to the export of plants. The role requires strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. You must be comfortable working in a fast-pace environment with good attention to detail. You will process certificates for produce to export; certifying that the products are free from pest and disease.
The role involves a lot of data entry and cross referencing. A keen eye for detail is essential and you must be comfortable working to deadlines.
The role is working from home but you may be required to work in York City Centre in the future. You will be provided with the IT equipment to work from home, but you must have your own internet connection and a private space to work. All training will be provided by phone and live chat.

Essential Criteria
The role is subject to DBS and reference clearance. You must have been a resident in the UK for three consecutive years, spending no longer than six months abroad during this period (unless an Overseas Police Check is obtained).
