Brook Street are recruiting an Admin Officer to work for a government client based in Truro.
Main duties include:
-Preparing papers and files for court hearings.
-Producing court documents including letters and Court orders.
-General photocopying and filing.
-Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
-Post opening and dispatch.
-Standard letters and correspondence.
-Logging documents and filing them on the Court file
-Assisting court users, supporting listing and rota management, checking files.
-Contacting relevant parties, collecting fees etc, including the use of chip and pin.
-Handling reception, written and telephone enquiries.
-Communicate and work with the Judiciary, Magistracy, the Cluster Managers, Court staff, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience required:
-Strong Administrative skills, with relevant work experience
-Good IT skills, with experience in using Microsoft Office.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
This is a full time role working Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.
Rate of pay is £8.87 per hour rising to £9.78 per hour after 12 weeks of work. Under 25 rates are £8.35 per hour rising to £9.78 per hour after 12 weeks of work.
This is a temporary assignment ongoing until 31/03/2021, with a possibility of an extension.
