Job Description

he Ministry of Justice - Administration Officer
Location: Bradford, Thornbury
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Pay: Between £8.35ph - 9.78ph

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Direct Lodgement Centre with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Bradford for the listings team. The role will include working as part of a flexible team in a back-office environment and will be responsible utilising decision making criteria to case manage appeals from appeal creation through to the appeal being heard.

Responsibilities include:
- Compliance checking appeals

- Processing further evidence for appeals and updating the case file accordingly
- Utilising decision making for case manage appeals from registration through to the case being taken to a hearing
- Processing judicial instructions, responding flexibly to their requirements to ensure the appeal progresses. Undertaking a variety of complex administration tasks utilising appeals data base.

Listing appeals for hearing, ensuring eligible cases are listed for the correct timeslots
- Contacting customers/stakeholders via phone and email
- Dealing with confidential information
- Working with a high-volume output and 100% accuracy rates

-Working on manual databases so a good attention to details and extremely strong IT is required
