Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to work for a government client based in Truro.
Main duties include:
-Preparing papers and files for court hearings
-Producing court documents including letters and court orders
-General photocopying and filing
-Creating and updating records on in-house computer systems and data input
-Post opening and dispatch standard letters and correspondence
-Logging documents and filing them on the court file
-Assisting court users, supporting listing and rota management
-Checking files in preparation of court hearings
-Contacting relevant parties, collecting fees etc
-Handling face to face, written and telephone enquiries
Skills and experience required:
-Strong administrative background, with experience in working within an office environment
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Good IT skills, with experience in using Microsoft Office
This is a full time position working Monday-Friday 37 hours per week.
Rate of pay is £9.06 per hour rising to £9.78 per hour after 12 weeks of work.
Under 23s will start on £8.51 which will rise to £9.78 per hour after 12 weeks of work.
This is a temporary assignment ongoing until 31/03/2022, with a possibility of an extension.
