We contribute to achieving the Home Office`s priorities of securing our borders and reducing immigration, cutting crime and protecting our citizens from terrorism.
The Croydon Decision Making Centre based within UKVI International is one of the largest decision making centres in the world. We are responsible for running the UK`s visa service and manage around 3 million applications a year from overseas nationals who wish to come to the UK to visit.
Brook Street is presently recruiting for Administrative Officer Decision Makers (AODMs)
Administrative Officer Decision Makers (AODMs) work as decision makers on certain categories of entry clearance applications. This is subject to passing an initial assessment.
AODMs also support the business by assisting Entry Clearance Officers (ECOs) with tasks such as data entry, carrying out initial risk assessment and enrichment activity, printing visas, preparing documents for return to applicants and filing completed applications.
AODMs may also act as first point of contact for all types of correspondence sent to a visa section and be responsible for responding, referring to the ECO or Entry Clearance Manager (ECM) as appropriate. AODMs ensure that correspondence is accurate, clear and concise and sent within target times.

Successful candidates will be based in Croydon. The pay starts at £9.56 per hour, increasing to £13.27 per hour after 12 working weeks. The hours are Monday to Friday 16:00 to 22:00 and Saturdays 9:00 to 17:00 (6 days / 37 hours per week). Please note that these hours are non-negotiable. The role is temporary - ongoing. Your job offer would be subject to a successful SC clearance. Hence you must have a valid passport, 2 proof of address, proof of NI. You ideally should be living in the UK within the last 5 years.
