Job Description

We've got a great opportunity for a full- time long term temp role within the Southampton Courts, to join a fast-paced office, working as part of the admin team.
Overview:
- Full time 37 hrs per week
- Monday - Friday
- Temporary 6-month role
- Pay - £9.06 ph / raising to £10.86ph after 12 weeks
- Location - Southampton
- Start date ASAP

The successful candidate will provide customer service and administrative support. Court Admin Officer and relevant duties include -
" Working in a team of 3 this role is to ensure our buildings and facilities are well looked after and maintained across the two sites - Combined Court and Magistrates Court.
" A unique role and extremely important role that has become even more valuable during the pandemic ensuring our sites are equipped to deal with various challenges.
" Whilst this is not your standard admin office role it does include the following: Good customer service skills - meeting with contractors, cleaners, security, judiciary, and staff. Logging and escalating jobs on the IT portal. Good communication skills - both written and face to face. Organised with a "can do" approach to work.
" A flexible approach to work covering a wide range of duties and which is not desk based all day.
" The role requires that you visit different parts of both buildings to evaluate any potential building problem, consider the impact upon the business and consider solutions.
" Work with colleagues to ensure that everyone (including Judiciary) is prepared for and understand the scope and impact of scheduled project works together with unplanned works.
" Comply with office standards - time keeping, dress code and customer service, etc
Typical qualifications and experience:
- 5 GCSE's at grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- All offers are subject to 3 years of referencing checks and a DBS.
