Job Description

Our public sector client are looking for a temporary worker to join their team at HMP Exeter.

The post holder will support the business hub maintaining finance, performance and administrative systems within specified timescales for the establishment.

You will undertake a share of the transactions activity associated with the business hub. This will include processing most or all of the following categories of paperwork and imputing data ready for checking and onward transmission by the hub manager:

- Performance,

- Audit,

- Finance,

- Information assurance,

- Measuring the quality of prison life,

- Subject access requests,

- Official correspondence,

- Complaints,

- Risk register,

- Action Plans,

- Procuring Goods,

- Vehicle Maintenance,



You will also be required to:

- Organise, produce and maintain records,

- Act as a contact point,

- Prepare paperwork,

- Maintain and check establishment databases,

- Collate information,


There is 1 part time and 1 full time position available. Part time hours will be 18.5 hours per week ideally over 3 days but the client can be flexible.

Full time hours will be 37 hours a week Monday to Friday. Again the client can be flexible with hours but the earliest start time will be 7:30am and earliest finish will be 4pm.

This role will not be offender facing but you will be required to go onto the wing. Prison vetting is required for the role if you are successful.
