Job Description
Our Public Sector Client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as an Admin Officer. This is a currently a temporary role until September 2024 but it is highly likely this will be a temporary ongoing role. The role is 37 hours a week, working around the hours of 9-5. The pay rate is £11.88 an hour, paid on a weekly basis.
This is a fully on-site role due to the nature of its requirements.
This client does hire for multiple departments, so duties may vary slightly. Your day-to-day duties may include:
" opening mail
" sorting and filing mail
" Scanning documents
" taking mail to the correct department
" data entry on Microsoft office (word, excel) and in house systems
" updating on case progress
" using Microsoft Outlook to correspond with people internally and externally
Please note you will be required to carry out manual handling tasks - lifting and carrying box files etc. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 12 months of admin experience.
" Experience of using Microsoft computer packages, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
" Proficiency in written and oral communication as telephony work will be required.
" Experience dealing with customers.
