We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer based in the Slough Area. This is for a government sector and is currently ongoing until March 2020 with the likelihood of being extended.
You will be providing general administrative duties such as:
Typing up court orders made by judges on our internal computer systems.
Responding to customer enquiries by correspondence, email, telephone.
Issuing new court processes and accounting for court fees.
Sitting in courtrooms with Judges as a `Judges Clerk` - noting which parties attend the court and informing the judge; operating recording equipment in the Courtoom.
The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
***Please note that you will be required to process a Disclosure Scotland clearance through Brook Street prior to you commencing your assignment. This can take up to 3 weeks to process (dependent upon each application) and will incur a charge to you up front of £25 (reimbursed after 4-6 weeks)***
Hourly pay: £8.36, increasing to £10.82 after your first 12 weeks. Paid every Friday a week in arrears. Holiday hours are also accrued on a weekly basis.
