My government city centre based client is looking for an administrator to join their city centre team. This is working 37 hours per week, at an hourly rate of £10.32 per hour
You will be working alongside a team supporting with customer enquiries relating to sentencing result and hearing dates. This role will require you to answer calls and emails from members of the public relating to the post court process. As such the ideal candidate should be confident taking calls and dealing with potentially difficult conversations. You will also be completing general admin duties as well.
You will be required to:
- provide administrative support
- have good I.T skills for inputting and scanning data
- follow set procedures and exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision
- take files to and from the court room - the role is quite active and involves a lot of walking about and filing, ensuring records are up to date.
For this role you should have good communication skills for face-to-face, internal and external calls. The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and be smartly dressed is also essential.
You may also occasionally be required to do courtroom duties such as clerking
Previous customer service, admin and data entry experience is desirable for this role.
The successful candidate will be required to provide three years references and undergo a basic DBS application.
