Brook Street is very pleased to be recruiting for two temporary Admin Officer roles within the Ministry of Justice in Derby City Centre, with easy access to all transport links.
The roles are not strictly administrative and will involve, but not be limited to the following:
- General administrative duties within the MOJ
- Processing orders
- Dealing with correspondence
- Preparing files for court
- Processing paperwork
- Liaising with the judiciary
- Dealing with customers and answering the telephone.
They are also undertaking a large file retention and destruction exercise, which would involve the destruction and movement of large volumes of obsolete files. So you must be able and happy to move large dusty files from various locations of the site.
For this role you will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check, £40.00, which is refunded after 4 completed, worked weeks.
The roles are currently until the end of June 2020 but could possibly extend beyond this. They are a standard 37hr week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The rate of pay is £7.70 - £8.36/hr NWR for the first 12 weeks and then will increase to £9.59/hr thereafter.
If you are interested in applying for either of the roles, please send your CV .
