A government body based in Kingston are looking for a well organised Admin Officer to manage day to day administration duties.
The duties involve use of Microsoft applications e.g. Excel and Powerpoint.
o Preparing, sorting or indexing files papers, briefs and statistics.
o Writing and despatching routine or straightforward letters.
o Drafting papers, orders, certificates, schedules, reports, and letters.
o Checking (papers, computer output, typing receipts, invoices, and figures).
o Photocopying documents.
o Arranging appointments, interviews, conferences, hearing dates, meetings.
o Contact with the public, colleagues (some very senior) and judiciary, in person or by telephone to obtain information and advise on procedure.
o Administering, making payments.
o Maintaining records.
o Ordering and supplying stationery and equipment.
o Interpreting and applying rules, regulations and procedures against criteria and instructions.
The general duties of this role is not limited to this list
This post is full time 9am to 5pm paying £9.37 per hour. A DBS will be required.
