We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer working within a local government department in Stevenage, within walking distance of the train station.
Coupled with the stability of working within an ongoing temporary position, we can offer an initial hourly pay rate of £7.98ph, increasing to £9.45ph following 12 consecutive weeks of temping.
Hours of work will be; Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with an hour lunch break.
Working as part of the sorting team, you will play a crucial role in;
Money handling, dealing with accounts related enquiries and working with figures, investigating and reconciling figures using financial reports produced from court computer system, dealing with customer enquiries by phone and by correspondence.
To be considered for this position you will need:
To be able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment. Some knowledge of excel, word and outlook is essential and good customer service skills.
Due to the department you will be working within, you must remain vigilant and ensure that high security it maintained at all times to maintain the standards of this facility.
In order to be considered for these roles, candidates must be willing to complete a Disclosure Scotland security check. This incurs a one off fee (paid up front) of £25 and usually takes up to 3 working weeks (maximum) to clear.
