Brook Street are looking to recruit for a full time temporary role within the MOJ at Branston. It is initially for 12 weeks with the potential to go onto a fixed term contract for 1 year.
The role is to be part of the applications team that respond to SARs made under the DPA. The role requires strong customer service and administrative skills; an ability to plan workload effectively and the ability to follow standard procedures and security protocols. This role is a vital part of the function of the team and the Department`s compliance with the DPA and GDPR.
The role holder will be required to, but not limited to:
" Create and log new requests on in-house case management system and commission requests for information across the MoJ
" Update records on case management system
" Open and sort post
" Answer queries (telephone and written correspondence) from customers and colleagues across the Department
" General ad hoc office duties, including some manual handling.
" Experience of using Microsoft computer package, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
" Experience of office administration and proactively managing a workload to set timescales for a good service
" Polite telephone manner. The role involves speaking to other teams and customers courteously and in a persuasive manner
" Flexible approach but ability to follow standard procedures and security protocols, appreciating both the details of cases and overall business objectives.
The role will require you to pass a Basic DBS which will be applied for once satisfactory referencing has been received.
It is a full time role of 37hrs a week, Monday to Friday. The rate of pay starts at £7.98/hr for the first 12 worked weeks before increasing to £9.45/hr. There is onsite parking, pension and flexible hours once training is complete.
