I am currently looking to recruit a Court Clerk/Admin officer to join a busy court team in Manchester City Centre. Please note this is a long term temporary role starting for three months with the potential for this to be extended.
You will be working in a busy and varied case work team which involves both Admin work and Clerking Tribunal hearings. The role is full time, Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00.
You will be providing administrative support and be required to clerk hearings. This is a very customer focused role and so you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and deal with issues in a calm and professional manner. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
o Completing casework duties
o acting as a administrative liaison, through clerking, with internal and/or external sources.
o preparing routine correspondence.
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office is advantageous. Good communication skills, both oral and written are a must.
The rate of pay for this role is from £7.70- £8.36 and this will increase after 12 weeks in the assignment.
As this is a government role you will be required to provide three years worth of reference and be subject to a basic dbs.
