I am currently recruiting for an experienced Admin Officer to join a busy government department in Manchester City centre.
You will be working Monday - Friday between the hours of 09.00 - 17.00. Please note that this is a long term temporary role.
This is a varied role including both admin and clerking responsibilities, you will provide administrative support and be required to clerk hearings. This is a very customer focused role and so the candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and deal with issues in a calm and professional manner. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
o Completing casework duties
o acting as a administrative liaison, through clerking, with internal and/or external sources.
o preparing routine correspondence.
As this is a government role you will be required to provide three years references and under go a DBS.
The rates of pay for this role are from £7.70 rising to £10.12 after 12 weeks.
