Brook Street are working with the Ministry of Justice in recruiting a full-time Administration Officer for a city centre location. The role is for 13 months initially but could possibly be extended.
The ideal candidate must be computer literate with an understanding of Microsoft Office word and excel. A background in customer service would be advantageous as you will be required to spend some time taking phone calls, some of which may require delicate handling.
Other administrative duties include but are not limited to are:
dealing with correspondence,
preparing files for court as well as filing,
liaising with the judiciary,
some clerking for SSCS duties
and answering the telephone.
You will be required to have a DBS, £23.00 to £40.00, level dependant, which will be refunded back to you after working in the role for 4 weeks.
The hours are 37hrs a week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
The pay rate starts at NWR £7.70 - £8.36/hr for the first 12 worked weeks before increasing to £9.59/hr thereafter.
