Brook Street are pleased to be recruiting for a temporary Administration Officer role within the Ministry of Justice, in Derby City centre.
The role is required to start ASAP and will be for 3 months to start with, possibly extending beyond.
You must have good general administrative skills and be confident in dealing with telephone enquiries.
Some of the duties include but are not limited to are:
" Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings, producing court documents and accurately updating results of court hearings onto various in-house computer systems
" Handling counter (face to face), written and telephone enquiries
" General photocopying and filing, creating paper and electronic files, creating and updating records on in-house computer systems and data input
" Producing standard letters, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions, post opening and dispatch of correspondence
" Assisting court users, supporting listing and rota management, checking files
" Interpreting accurately the information required on a court file, preparation of bundles
" Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards
A good standard of education and knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is required.
A basic DBS will be required before starting the role, £25.00, but will be refunded after 4 weeks in the assignment.
The pay rate starts at £7.98/hr for the first 12 worked weeks then increases to £9.45 thereafter.
