Administration Officer - Temporary
Pay: £13.25 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
Contract: Temporary until 31/03/2027 with potential extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00 (37 hours per week)
Location: Fully onsite initially (B2 4AA), with potential for hybrid working in the future
Start Date: Monday 17th August 2026 (cannot accommodate leave within first 4 weeks)
About the Role
We are looking for motivated and customer-focused individuals to join a temporary second Office Copy Team.
This role is combining customer service and administrative responsibilities. Initially, successful candidates will handle customer payment calls using the telephone system before progressing to the production and registration of Office Copies.
Full training will be provided by the Training Team.
As part of this role, you will provide both customer service and administrative support to ensure the efficient processing of Office Copy requests. Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming customer calls via the Genesys telephone system and conducting security checks to verify customer details.
- Taking payments for Office Copy requests and providing a professional, positive customer experience.
- Redirecting non-Office Copy enquiries to the appropriate Contact Centre team.
- Accurately recording call information and updating the case management system.
- Creating and managing tasks to support the production of Office Copies.
- Working from task lists and following instructions recorded on Sirius.
- Printing, stamping, perforating and dispatching Office Copies of registered Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Updating the Office Copy case management system with accurate information obtained from Sirius.
- Carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support team objectives and service delivery.
- Providing telephone cover as required to meet operational demand and maintain service levels.
Please note that telephone coverage is a key priority within the role and flexibility may be required to support customer demand and operational requirements.
Please note that this role can be physically demanding and may involve:
- Frequent standing and movement.
- Loading and operating printers.
- Carrying files and documents.
- Repetitive stamping and document handling.
- Regular bending and lifting activities.
General Expectations
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in team and unit meetings, both in person and via Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain accurate records and update case management systems, identifying and reporting any errors where appropriate.
- Monitor and prioritise work across shared and personal inboxes, ensuring urgent requests are dealt with promptly.
- Provide daily productivity figures and other management information as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support different tasks across the team to meet business needs.

Successful candidates will be subject to a Standard DBS check and 3 years of referencing.
