Job Description

Job title: Admin Officer
Hours: 37 standard office hours
Location: Worcester town
Hourly rate: £8.87 per hour, longer temp temporary contract (duration unknown)
Start date: Subject to sufficient 3 year references and standard DBS check
My client is a well-known government organisation based in Worcester tow
n looking to recruit an Admin Officer.

Admin Officer responsibilities:
You will be providing administrative support, will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Clerking Tribunal Courts (Tribunal hearings will be heard in Hereford, Worcester and Kidderminster), and may include Civil and Family Hearings, assisting court users, supporting listing and rota arrangements
- Communicate and work with the Judiciary, give advice on the completion of forms or court procedures etc and provide excellent customer service
- Preparing papers and files for court hearings and meetings
- Preparing court documents and routine correspondence
- General photocopying and filing
- Creating and updating records on in-house computer systems
- Data inputting
- Resulting courts accurately, interpreting accurately the information required on a court file
- To work to workload targets in terms of throughput and accuracy
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources
- Handling counter (face to face), written and telephone enquiries
- Telephoning customers and setting up payment plans.

Admin Officer desired Skills and Experience:
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Good typing skills
