Your daily routine will include being responsible for providing administrative support. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
" Supporting listing and rota arrangements
" Communicate and work with the Judiciary, give advice on the completion of forms or court procedures etc and provide excellent customer service
" Preparing papers and files for court hearings and meetings
" Preparing court documents and routine correspondence
" General photocopying and filing
" Creating and updating records on in-house computer systems
" Data inputting
" Resulting courts accurately, interpreting accurately the information required on a court file
" To work to workload targets in terms of throughput and accuracy
" Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources
" Handling counter (face to face), written and telephone enquiries
" Telephoning customers and setting up payment plans.
You will be supported along in a team environment but you must have the inactive to work alone also, full training will be provided to you.
You must have Good communication skills, both oral and written. Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office, NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience) and have good have typing skills.
This is 6 month contract working 37 hours a week (office hours) for £7.98 per hour.
*Due to the nature of this position we will need to undertake a criminal record check which incurs a cost of £25, this is refunded to you once you have completed 6 weeks in the assignment**
