Admin Officer - Manchester (Piccadilly, Store Street)
Our client, a reputable organisation based in Manchester, is hiring for a dedicated Admin Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills within a supportive environment, with hybrid working options after the initial training period.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing administrative support by following set procedures and exercising independent judgement.
* Collating, analysing, and summarising complex data, then submitting findings in written reports.
* Overseeing administrative procedures and processes to ensure smooth operations.
* Assisting with budget preparation and control, where required.
* Acting as a liaison with internal teams and external contacts.
* Handling routine correspondence and managing incoming queries via online forms.
* Managing approximately 40-50 cases daily, determining the appropriate team for each query based on subject terms.
What you'll bring:
* Five GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language or equivalent.
* NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or suitable clerical experience.
* Strong experience in administration, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Good decision-making and organisational skills.
* Ability to read, absorb, and analyse information efficiently.
* Competent in using in-house systems and decision-making based on data.
Additional details:
* Location: Manchester - Piccadilly, Store Street.
* Initial 2-4 weeks office-based training, with hybrid working options thereafter.
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with flexibility on start and finish times.
* Start date: ASAP.
* Duration: 6 months.
* Pay rate: £14.17 per hour, paid weekly.
