Our Client is hiring for an Admin Officer - you'll be the calm, reliable first point of contact that helps people move through court services smoothly. This is a hands-on admin and customer service role with real purpose: supporting day-to-day operations and helping deliver justice, in and outside of hearings.

What you'll be doing:
* Be the first point of contact for users, judicial office holders and partner agencies-face-to-face, by telephone, digital chat and written correspondence
* Prepare for, facilitate and conclude a range of hearing-related administration tasks
* Provide clear guidance and signposting using established service scripts and knowledge materials, including for users with complex or vulnerable needs
* Manage enquiries and resolve issues promptly to help prevent delays, escalating where required
* Handle case files with accurate data entry and secure information management in line with retention and data loss protocols
* Support listing and scheduling, coordinating diary/admin tasks to ensure judicial time is used effectively
* Manage jury service admin tasks including selection/deferral/reassignment and attendance tracking, plus relevant fees/expenses processing
* Support enforcement activity including financial assessments and producing basic statistical/financial reports
* Contribute to health and safety processes (e.g., facility checks and issue logging) and respond immediately when needed

What you'll bring:
* Confidence providing excellent customer service, explaining processes clearly-even in challenging or distressing situations
* Strong digital skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and working with databases
* Ability to communicate professionally and impartially while dealing with sensitive information
* Practical problem-solving skills, prioritising workload and adjusting to urgent requests
* Flexibility to support the team and work to operational needs (including occasional Saturday/Bank Holiday cover)
* Resilience, discretion and a consistent approach to safeguarding and security concerns
