Job Description
The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
- Location: Bradford County/Crown court
- Salary: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
- Hours: 10.86ph
- Long term temporary assignment
This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements. All training will be provided for the role. The training is in depth and the MoJ put a lot of time and effort into the training as they like to keep candidates for as long as possible
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Bradford county/crown court with our client, The Ministry of Justice.
Responsibilities include:
- Host remote hearings by Teams/Bt meet me
- Managing the jury, dealing with any queries they have. Ensuring all admin is completed for them and escorting them to the correct courts
- Noting the proceedings as they progress - keeping all files updated
- Drawing the final decisions/order on the standalone "GAPS" system (full training will be provided)
- Using the Case Management system - data entry
- Processing work
- Extracting and filing away files
- General Office Administration

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong customer service skills essential and recent administration
- Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent sickness record
