Job Description

We are currently recruiting for full time Admin Officers in Southport for on of our Government bodies. These roles are to start as soon as possible and are pending interview and successful security clearance.

The primary role of a Demographic Administrator is to:

- Manually trace demographic information using a number of systems.

- Resolve data quality incidents.

A Demographic Administrator is a member of a team responsible for servicing manual tracing requests in support of the Census 2021 project using a number of systems to improve the quality of demographic data and to resolve any data quality incidents that may arise.

The team uses a work-flow management framework with each incident or service request being raised via a work item.

Accuracy is of paramount importance to ensure each record is traced and matched correctly to ensure the highest quality of data outputs.

** Attention to detail and ability to focus are essential for this role **

Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Information Governance policies and procedures in order to appropriately communicate personal confidential data and sensitive information on a daily basis.

Significant level of analysis and judgement skills required to process manual tracing requests and data quality incidents.

Planning and organisation skills to manage own workload in line with agreed service levels.

Ability to identify service improvements and anomalies/errors or out of date information in guidance notes and process maps used by the team on a daily basis.

Significant experience in the use of Microsoft Office software.
