Job Description

we have an exciting new job opportunity for an Admin Officer to join one of our Government clients in Hendon Magistrates, North London. This is a full-time temporary role for an ongoing 6 months with a view to extending the contract further! The responsibilities of the role will include:

this role is working in conjunction with Harrow Crown court. However becuase they are closed the role will be based in Hendon Magistrates.

  • Working with the Judiciary to book cases, conducting meetings and be apart of the admin team who supports the court clerk team.
  • Will be a mixture of processing work on relavant computer systems- Strong IT skills are a must
  • Scanning documents and transferring files
  • Liaising with Judges and senior stakeholders within the Courts
  • Uploading documents onto electronic systems/databases
  • Contacting relevant parties, scheduling, serving court documents, executing a range of warrants, collecting fines and fees etc, including the use of chip and pin
  • Will be strictly working in the office, not working from home
  • .

Skills required:

  • The primary skill needed is able to use Word, Excel and have good communications skills both oral and written as will be dealing with Judiciary, other court users and stake holders. Training will be given.
  • Good accurate recording and record keeping e.g.,
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently via telephone, email etc and to remote workforce
  • Ability to work on own initiative


Salary: £13.89 per hour (with benefits of pension scheme and holiday.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

A DBS check will be needed before you can start this role, we will process this for you.
