Job Description

MOJ - Admin Officer
Location: Leeds - MOJ Crown Court
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)

Pay: £10.86 per hour

*This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements*

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for full time Administration Officers to join the Team at Leeds Crown Court with our client, MOJ based in Leeds. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. This is a very interesting role, carrying out effective and efficient administration and customer care support to the courts. You would need to provide administration support ensuring staff & service users are supported through efficient processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • To organise and host remote hearings into the court room
  • Must have knowledge or from an admin background
  • Entering data onto computer system, use of different on-line portals
  • Must be organised
  • Able to use and have knowledge of outlook, Microsoft word, Microsoft teams, excel, and other on-line portals
  • Must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Quick to learn and retain information
  • To communicate efficiently with members of the public on both the phone and in person
  • Be well organised as would potentially be responsible for the allocations of Judges to hearings on a day to day basis
