Admin Officer - Fines Office(HMCTS)
Location: South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London
Pay Rate: £15.59 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week 5 days on site
Contract: Temporary ongoing assignment till 01/12/2026

About the Role
Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to join the London Collection and Compliance Centre (LCCC) within HMCTS.
The LCCC is responsible for the collection and enforcement of court-imposed financial penalties and orders. The team works closely with enforcement agencies, court users, and internal HMCTS departments to ensure financial orders are administered effectively and in accordance with court procedures.
This is a busy administrative role combining case management, customer service, and enforcement support duties within a fast-paced public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Processing and managing fines and financial penalty cases
Updating and maintaining accurate records on HMCTS case management systems
Reviewing cases and progressing enforcement actions in line with established procedures
Handling telephone, email, and written enquiries from court users and partner agencies
Liaising with enforcement agencies, court users, and internal HMCTS teams
Processing payments, payment arrangements, and financial records
Preparing correspondence, notices, and enforcement documentation
Scanning, uploading, and securely managing sensitive case documents
Supporting compliance and enforcement activities relating to unpaid fines and court orders
Providing general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the team
Skills & Experience Required
Previous administration and/or customer service experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
Professional and confident approach when dealing with customers and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience handling sensitive or confidential information
