Job Description

HMRC - Clerical/Admin Officer
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £11.04
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)


*This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements*

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team in Leeds with our client, HMRC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that offers training and a great working environment.

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Managing the inbox and ensuring emails and correspondence are responded to in a timely manner

- Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report

- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes

- Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required

- Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources

- Preparing routine correspondence

- General administration

- Supporting the Business Support team

- Dealing with work requests


What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:

- Working well within a team but can also work independently

- A NVQ Business Administration Level 2 qualification (or suitable clerical experience)

- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office

- Good communication skills, both oral and written

- Great attention to detail

- Work in a fast paced environment.
