Job Description
The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: Leeds Magistrates Court
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Pay: £9.78ph
*This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements*
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at Leeds Magistrates Court with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Leeds. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. This is a very interesting role, carrying out effective and efficient administration and customer care support to the courts. You would need to provide administration support ensuring staff & service users are supported through efficient processes.
Responsibilities include:
- To organise and host remote hearings into court room
- You will need to work in the office following on the job training can be flexible with remote working in the future
- Must have knowledge or from an admin background
- Ability to work on dual screens
- entering data onto computer system, use of different on-line portals
- Must be organised
- Able to use and have knowledge of outlook, Microsoft word, Microsoft teams, excel, and other on-line portals
- Must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Quick to learn and retain information
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team working remotely and in the office
