Job Description
The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: York County Court
Salary: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Hours: Between 8.56ph to 9.78ph
This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements. All training will be provided for the role.
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the York County Court with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in York. role will include working as part of a flexible team. You will be trained to host the remote hearings and working in the general office.
Responsibilities include:
- Host remote hearings by Teams/Bt meet me
- Liaising with the judiciary and appellants
- Noting the proceedings as they progress
- Drawing the final decisions/order on the standalone "GAPS" system
- Using the Case Management system
- Processing work
- Extracting and filing away files
- General Office Administration
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong customer service skills essential and recent administration
- Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent sickness record
