We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary front desk counter officer working 37 hours a week within the public sector. The role is working with Customer Service Offices and Centre will contribute to safeguarding identity through managing customers arriving to counter services and carrying out related activities to deliver a world class customer service within the Customer Service Network.
Our client is looking for candidates with excellent Customer Service and administration skills who would be available to start as soon as required clearances have been obtained. The assignment is currently for 3 months, but there may be the potential for this to be extended further.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to listen and influence and relate well to the customer. They must have the capacity to manage their own workload within the agreed working practices and be flexible to ensure changing needs and priorities are dealt with effectively.
o Greet all customers and visitors at reception and provide appropriate assistance.
o Effectively sorganise the daily appointments, welcoming customers, setting expectations, explaining the process, putting customers at ease and handling queries including complaints .
o Check customers in for appointment at the appropriate time, complete required checks and establish if applicant is fit for interview.
o Plan and prepare for all allotted interviews, ensuring that any required special arrangements are facilitated
The salary will be £9.06 p/h to £10.97 p/h, and the assignment is for 37 hours a week, based on a Monday till Friday including Saturday work.
The week that you would work Saturday and will get a day off during the week. 9am to 5:30pm work pattern.
A CTC clearance will be required for this role.
