Job Description

Brook Street are delighted to be recruiting for a temporary administrator/receptionist role within ISS.

The role is temporary for 3 months, with possible extension. Working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm.

The position is based in the facilities team and will involve phone work and admin duties to provide support and advice to the building users.

Duties may include but not be limited to
- Reception
- Dealing with building issues
- Managing customer queries
- Answering calls
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Taking deliveries
- Organising meeting rooms
- Moving furniture around if required
- Ordering stationary
- Ensuring refreshments are topped up
- Health & Safety checks
- General admin as required


Ideally you will be familiar with Microsoft word, excel, outlook and teams along with the ability to adapt to the in-house systems. Full training will be given and this role would be ideal if looking to join the civil service. It will enable you to build up your admin skills whilst obtaining experience in facilities management.
Desirable - you will hold a full UK driving licence, as you will have access to a pool car, and be required to possibly visit other sites etc.

Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. You may be called upon to move furniture or deal with a blocked toilet one day, whilst the next arrange stationary supplies or refreshments.
This role would suit anyone just starting on their career path through to anyone who is looking to take a step back.

The pay rate is £12.33 per hour and benefits include holiday pay and pension scheme
