Our Public Sector client is looking for a temporary worker to provide administrative support. The role will be working full time, Monday to Friday and will be in place until at least February/March 2022 and pending review thereafter.
The post holder will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement. You will work alongside the Director Chief of Regional Delivery's (DRD) Chief of Staff and support as a personal assistant.
You will be responsible for providing direct support with carrying out day to day business effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least five GCSE's at grade C or above or equivalent
- Have strong administrative experience
have good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Have great communication skills, both oral and written
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Management of diary, Mailbox, travel and meetings
- Collate papers and briefs
- Stakeholder management
- All other duties of a PA
This role will be offering a pay rate of £10.59 per hour. This is non-negotiable. The start date for this role is as soon as possible pending clearance.
The role will initially be working from home with full training provided. A return to office date has not been confirmed but, should there be a need to go to the office, they are based within the Sutton Coldfield area and therefore, you must be able to commute here if necessary.
You must be willing and able to process a basic disclosure using the Brook Street fast-track service but, Brook Street will refund this money back to you after successfully completing four weeks in post.
