Job Description

The Role:

Brook Street are proud to be working in partnership with the Cabinet Office, based in Benton, Newcastle. Working with government departments in a fast-paced environment, priorities are ever changing so you must have the ability to work at pace, and have resilience to meet competing demands. You will need to be open to change, and focused on helping to develop a professional service.

Responsibilities:

A single point of contact approach to account management to deliver a department's recruitment needs. As a Recruitment Advisor within the Department, you will work across GRS, using your recruitment knowledge to promote good practice and consistency.

Build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and customers, and work collaboratively with others.

Progress recruitment campaigns using the in-house e-recruitment tracking system or complete the relevant pre-employment checks for candidates.

Deal effectively with email and telephone enquiries.

Assist in the collation of data so that accurate figures can be produced and monitored against the agreed KPIs.

Assignment details:

Assignment: 3 Months, with a high possibility of extension
Start date - November 2023
Rate of Pay: £12.86 per hour paid weekly in arrears
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday
Location: Benton, Newcastle
Working arrangements: Hybrid working, expected to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
Training - Induction will be held. This will be held in the office and done virtually.
