Job Description

Do you have a passion for law? Do you have a strong admin background? Do you have excellent attention to detail? If yes, We have the role for you, working for our client, MOJ at the Wakefield Civil Justice Centre!

Job role- Admin Officer
Location: Wakefield Civil Justice Centre (WF1)
Salary: £11.88ph
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Contract- Temporary - Ongoing

All training will be provided for the role.

Role Overview:
You will provide administrative support as well as IT Support. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with Civil or family work
  • General administrative support to the Judiciary
  • Drawing orders
  • Responding to emails
  • Answering telephones
  • Using the appropriate case management systems.
  • Issuing process
  • General office administration
  • Some hosting of remote or face to face hearings.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong customer service skills essential and recent administration
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent sickness record
  • Great attention to detail
  • Great IT skills
  • Experience working in IT Support
  • Work towards deadlines
