Job Description

We have an Administration Support opportunity with the Government Property Agency

If you have a strong administration background and are well organised then this may be the role for you

  • Location: Leeds city centre
  • Hybrid working; 2 days in the office 3 at home
  • Hours: Monday- Friday 37 hours a week - flexible hours between 8-6
  • Assignment length: 13 months (end of September 2023)
  • Salary: £11.33 per hour (£21,798 annually)

The client:

The Government Property Agency is changing the way the Civil Service works. They are at the forefront of the Government's transformation agenda and reshaping the relationship civil servants have with their place of work.

They are responsible for delivering the Government's Estates Strategy. They manage the Government's property assets including delivering major programmes to build and refurbish buildings and drive more flexible smarter working practices to improve productivity and well-being. They are the landlord for government departments: They provide strategic property advice, and they are a property service provider.

The role:

As the Customer Experience admin support officer, you will be an essential part of a busy and lean team. We are passionate about creating great places to work across the Civil Service and so should you be too. You will be well equipped to manage your own time, have a can-do approach to output delivery and be confident in your abilities to deliver first class administrative services. In return you will be part of a supportive and caring team that will invest in you and your development.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Providing best in class administrative support to the customer experience team. Including secretariat duties, facilitation and scoping and briefing of speakers for project events such as community groups, client tours and site visits. You will also lead on the planning aspects for these events to ensure they run smoothly and deliver a great experience for attendees.
  • Supporting the team in developing products, advice and guidance on customer facing and framework products. You will help create products, lead on user testing and support necessary communication and engagement activity to launch and refresh products as and when necessary.
  • Leading on maintaining the knowledge content on the Customer Service Portal ensuring it meets quality standards. You will be responsible for inducting new users onto the platform to ensure they know how to use it, promote and encourage use of the platform; answer queries on behalf of the team and escalate common issues to the Customer Experience lead.
  • You will lead on developing and maintaining PMO activities for the team, such as risk registers, reporting; team feedback process and document management.
  • Support the team at critical points throughout the project lifecycle, such as supporting the coordination and delivery of induction events and post occupation evaluation activity.
  • General admin duties as required.

What we require from you

  • Experienced user of digital applications, google suite or Microsoft teams
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Well organised

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of business change frameworks
  • Understanding of project methodology and processes
  • Understanding of smarter/hybrid working principles
