Job Description

Brook Street are proud to advertise a role at the MOD in Salisbury, this is a 3 month temporary assignment working 37 hours a week from Monday to Friday. The pay rate is £10.35 per hour

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to: Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report Overseeing administrative procedures and processes Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources Preparing routine correspondence Typical qualifications and experience: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent) NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience) Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office Good communication skills, both oral and written.



Job Description -



As Clerical Support the post holderâ??s key areas of responsibility are as follows:



Manage the group mailbox and record all OPBCâ??s on the register, ensuring registered number is allocated to all paperwork before pass to the relevant SME for consideration within 2 days of receipt.



Assist SO3 Compliance with recording all monthly expenditure on the ePC register, once statements are received from the Bank within 3 Working days and filing all transactions and bank statements.



Provide assistance to the SO3 Compliance with the distribution of letters of delegation including financial letters for CP&F.



Assist with the accurate and timely submission of quarterly cash and stores losses return to the TLB.



Provide support to Deputy Civ Sec and the Brigade Secâ??s for all activities financial or other out with the Brigades delegated authority.



Ensure the archive store is kept in a tidy fashion and send relevant documentation to the TNT store when necessary.



Act as CP&F Demander
