Job Description
Brook Street are proud to Advertise a role at the MOD in Andover, this is a 3 month temporary contract. The role is working 37 hours a week from Monday-Friday. The pay rate is £10.35 per hour
The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to: Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report Overseeing administrative procedures and processes Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources Preparing routine correspondence Typical qualifications and experience: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent) NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience) Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office Good communication skills, both oral and written
Assist in carrying out the Administration support for Directorate of Resources, including maintaining of stationery stocks, ordering as necessary, maintenance printers, and consumables etc.
Carry out additional tasks as requested by Chief of Staff
Booking meetings/conference rooms as requested and sending out calendar invitations.
Maintain Announcement Page including archiving and uploading communications
Maintain Distribution lists
Provide Training/Workshop admin support to include Room Bookings
Support with office move co-ordination
Co-ordinate monthly Stationery order
Responsible for managing printer consumables - Check all printers daily and report faults as necessary
Report building maintenance faults as required.
Allocate and regularly review the personal lockers log
Mail distribution
Arrange Video conferencing
Assist with Briefings/events as required
