Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme is currently looking for an Administrative Officer to support their department. This will be Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.00pm however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business. This will be an ongoing temporary assignment, paying £9.06 per hour going up to £9.78 after the 13th working week, please note that for 23 years and under this will be paying NMW going up to £9.78 in the 13th working week.

This role with be responsible for assisting in all administration duties such as working within the Jury Office, which may include booking in cases and issuing invites to relevant parties. You may also be required to download documents, input data and complete some general duties including photocopying, scanning and filing. You may also be required to monitor the office email inbox, sifting through incoming mail, linking and delivering it to the appropriate teams. You will also be required to answer calls and have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Please note this role will require a DBS check, and full referencing for last three years.
