Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham is currently looking for an Administration Officer to support their Operations department. This will be Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.00pm however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business. This will be an ongoing temporary assignment, paying £9.06 per hour for the first 12 working weeks then increasing to £11.19 in the 13th working week.
This role will require the successful candidate to provide high quality administration support in a fast-paced office environment. You must be able to follow working procedures and deliver set targets. You will need to be a successful and effective communicator with both internal and external contacts, to be able to explain processes and give accurate updates in response to enquiries. Therefore, it is essential that you have a positive and profession approach to build relationships with a wide range of people within and outside the Civil Service.
You should also be proficient in MS Office suite and have strong IT skills to provide the best administration support for the department as required.
