Job Description

My public sector client based in Lichfield is looking for an Administrative Officer, to support their department. This is a temporary on-going assignment Monday to Friday paying £11.01p/hr, full time 37.50 hours a week
You will be the first point of contact, managing the phones, emails and post and assisting the team with administrative duties. Administrative duties include data entry, processing documents, filing, scanning and managing the physical post and proof-reading data.

You must have strong IT skills such are Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and have the ability to pick up systems and technology quickly. This will also include assisting with part of another department logging IT faults and taking messages to pass to other members of the team. You will also be required to issue and book back in IT equipment therefore some customer skills would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months administration experience and a willingness to train and learn new systems and skills. You will have an attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment. You will be articulate, an excellent communicator and effective team player!

Proven experience in this field would be ideal and this role will require a clearance and three years referencing.
