Job Description

Brook Street are proud to advertise a role at the MOD in Winchester, this is a temporary contract for 6 months working full time hours Monday to Friday. The pay rate starts at £8.36 for the first 12 weeks then rises up to £10.35 after this period.

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report

Overseeing administrative procedures and processes

Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required

Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources

Preparing routine correspondence



Typical qualifications and experience:

Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)

NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)

Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office

Good communication skills, both oral and written

CLOTHING STORE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER



WORKING WITHIN THE QUARTERMASTER?S DEPARTMENT PROVIDING ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT WITHIN THE CLOTHING STORE.



JOB PURPOSE:



? RESPONSIBLE TO THE STORES OFFICER FOR THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF THE CLOTHING STORE AND THE PROVISION OF ALL CLOTHING SCALE ITEMS FOR RECRUITS AND PERMANENT STAFF USING THE RELEVANT COMPUTER SYSTEM.

? ASSIST IN THE SUPERVISION AND RUNNING OF THE CLOTHING STORE.

? RECORD ALL RECEIPTS AND ISSUES ON THE RELEVANT COMPUTER SYSTEM.

? MAINTAIN STOCK CONTROL.

? PRODUCING OF PROGRAMS ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR STAFF FROM A MASTER TRAINING PROGRAM.

? LIAISE WITH ALL AGENCIES INVLOVED IN ATR WINCHESTER TRAINING BY VARIOUS KINDS OF COMMUNICATIONS.

? PREPARE ALL PAPERWORK/FILES FOR RECRUIT INTAKES.

? USE RELEVANT COMPUTER SYSTEM TO UPLOAD BILLS.

? UPDATE AND MAINTAIN RECORDS OF PERSONNEL.

ASSIST THE STORES OFFICER IN THE SUPERVISION AND RUNNING OF THE CLOTHING STORE ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE STORES OFFICER WHEN NECESSARY
