Admin Officer - Carlisle (Temporary, Full-Time)
Our client, a reputable organisation in the public sector, is hiring for a friendly and motivated Admin Officer to join their team in Carlisle. This is a full-time, temporary role lasting three months, with the potential for extension. You'll work Monday to Friday during office hours (37 hours per week), with approximately 60% of your time spent in the office.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing general administrative support following established procedures
* Handling inbound customer calls, assisting with a variety of queries
* Using internal systems to process calls, update customer records, and manage information
* Engaging with a diverse range of partners and colleagues across the wider team
* Adapting to different tasks as the situation demands in a fast-paced environment
What you'll bring:
* Strong IT skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confidence in speaking on the telephone and engaging with customers
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and established processes
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

* Hourly rate: £13.47
* Location: Carlisle (accessible by car, train, or bus)
