Join Our Client as a Business Administrator in Leyland!
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dedicated team within the public sector? Our client, a reputable organisation based in Leyland, is hiring a full-time temporary Business Administrator for an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital administrative functions in a professional environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Organising, maintaining, and updating accurate records for your designated area
* Acting as the main contact for all communications within the team, prioritising and distributing messages efficiently
* Completing monitoring reports and inputting requisitions onto finance databases
* Coordinating awareness sessions and preparing paperwork for managerial checks
* Corresponding with stakeholders and agencies to ensure smooth information sharing
* Maintaining databases, filing systems, and logs, responding within agreed timescales
* Collating data related to Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs)
* Supporting meetings by organising agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action points
What you'll bring:
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in maintaining databases and handling administrative tasks
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Experience in coordinating meetings and preparing documentation
Additional information:
* Location: Leyland
* Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Pay rate: £12.86 per hour
* No line management responsibilities
* Role may involve contact with prisoners depending on the area of work
Mandatory requirements:
* Successful HMPPS vetting (which can take approximately 6-8 weeks) before starting the role
