Administration Team Leader

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Belfast City Centre for an Administration Team Leader / Manager for a very busy office.

The purpose of the role is to support the Operations and Divisional Manager in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring best practice is identified, implemented and sustained throughout the operation and to supervise and co-ordinate the activities of direct reports to achieve the company Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s), whilst maintaining standard of quality and delivering continuous improvement


* Manage multi-disciplined staff across multiple locations within the Greater Belfast Area (there may occasionally be a requirement to visit bases outside of the Greater Belfast Area)
* Support, advise and direct all direct reports in the achievement of their agreed objectives and prescribed core standards, providing constructive feedback and coaching where relevant
* Brief staff effectively and clearly at daily team briefing sessions and maintain regular communication with contract personnel. Demonstrating a knowledge of the issues to be briefed
* Monitor and manage the level of the absence and sickness providing recommendations and take remedial action where appropriate
* Appraise performance regularly, document findings and instigate appropriate remedial action to address shortcomings
* Carry out any reviews and investigations as necessary, conduct disciplinary and grievance hearings in accordance with Company procedures
* Work with the Training Officer to induct all new staff, train and develop them to be capable of performing to the standard expected by the Company
* Recruit appropriate levels of staff in accordance with the Company`s standards and procedures

Essential Criteria

* Previous management experience - min 1 year supervising staff
* 5 GCSE`s grades A-C (including maths and English or equivalent)
* Previous experience and proficient in use of Microsoft Office, including, word, excel and outlook
* Minimum 1 year customer service experience
* Working knowledge of GDPR and how to comply with GDPR in practice
* Must be flexible
* Full valid and clean driving license

This role is busy and requires an extremely organised and methodical person to fill the role

Working hours are 42hrs over 5 days primarily Monday to Friday for this role however may be requirement for Saturday work on occasion.
The salary will start on £22,430 per annum
