Job Description

My client, based in Solihull, is currently seeking an Admin Officer to support their current work-stream.

The successful applicant will remotely support decision makers based in Sheffield. The team you will be placed in to underpin the decision-making role from point of routing through to the conclusion stage to ensure all cases are met within agreed service levels. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining databases.
  • Conducting case cleanse exercises on cases entering the unit.
  • Interview logistics.
  • Checking biometrics.
  • Scanning documents.
  • Identifying and actioning absconders and referring cases to other teams.
  • Actioning correspondence, telephone queries and file management.

You will be fully trained by an experienced member of staff, as well as having an induction to inform you of the business policies and what is expected of you in your post. This will be completed in the first week, and training will be continuous depending on the needs of the post-holder.

This is a full-time role, requiring you to work 37 hours per week Monday - Friday. This is a temporary on-going position.

For the first 12 weeks of the role, you will be paid £8.26ph, but this will then rise to £10.88ph as of your 13th week of work.

This role is subject to interview, and should you be successful at interview stage, you are required to provide 3 years of referencing as well as undertake a Counter Terrorist Check. (Security Clearance will be completed also).
