Administrative Officer - 6 Month Contract

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Officer on a 6 month contract bases. This will be based in Potters Bar.


This position will be working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. However, you may be asked to work outside normal office when required

You will be responsible for in putting and analysing data across local and national databases. You will also have access to CCTV systems for research purposes and may need to investigate issues further.


You will need to be confident with numbers, as you will need to be able to use and populate V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. You will need to be able to analyse this data and report back to management with figures and percentages.


You will also need to be confident to use a telephone, as you will be speaking to internal/external clients and helping resolve insurance claims. This Administrative position will also include other admin duties such as filing, faxing etc


The ideal candidate will have knowledge of local government structures and practices, have had a customer facing position previously, have the ability to co-ordinate information from a variety of sources and possess excellent numeracy skills.


The successful candidate will require a current driving licence.
