Job Description
Brook Street UK Ltd is seeking an Administrator for our Public Sector client based in Newtownabbey
The role is temporary and of full time hours (37hrs) flexibility may be required during events
The successful applicant will be required to provide a comprehensive, confidential and administrative/secretarial service
Monitoring media outlets daily including online/radio/TV/newspapers for articles relating to the organisation
Administrating and coordinating room bookings and the catering account for the Organisation Development Department
Key skills & Abilities for this role is to display enthusiasm and flexibility
Ability to deal with dissatisfied customers and difficult situations
Possess team work skills
Be able to identify and solve problems
Good analytic communication and interpretation skills
High degree of discretion and confidentiality
To be shortlisted for this role, the applicant must be:
Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Windows Applications i.e Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Powerpoint. 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) Grades A-C or equivalent.
At least 2 years relevant administrative/clerical experience, in a busy office environment including:
Experience working with a range of internal and external customers
Experience of organising own workload with minimum supervision
In return, you will be paid an hourly rate of £10.14 p/h paid on a weekly basis
