Job Description
Our Public Sector client based in Stafford is looking for a strong Administrative Officer to help support their Outbreak Centralised Services Team. This is a full time 37.00 hour a week temporary role, paying £12.98 p/hr. It is currently on the system for 12 months and is based in the office for 60% of the time during each month, the rest will be working from home.
This role is supporting their Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) throughout the UK, providing administrative support when animal disease outbreaks occur.
The main role responsibilities are listed below, and any other ad hoc administration duties as required:
- Provide mailbox management, triaging and flagging important/urgent emails to the FOB team
- Data cleansing to ensure all information is correct on their internal system (records management)
- Ensuring all information for visits for the field team is accurate
- Raising Job request forms
- Making calls to stockholders
- General administrative support
The ideal skill set the client would require is:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident in making and taking phone calls (please note this role will not be based on the phones 100% of the time)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office package, particularly Outlook, Word & Excel. Expected knowledge of Excel would have more emphasis on the data input side, for example updating trackers
- Good communication skills, as this role would involve liaising with internal teams remotely, to provide admin support
